The cult location of Dubrovnik's Lazareti has already seen the best of the world's electronic pyramid but there is always a hunger for more.

 

On Aug 12th it is time for the second wonderful musical merger when Lazareti will intertwine their musical sensibilities with those of Berlin Watergate club in the magnificent Watergate Goes Croatia Event. Historical core of Dubrovnik gave a big wet kiss to the high-tech beast of Berlin sound mecca, and all this with the zestful cheering of boutique and gallery bon ton.

 

You will shake your money maker on the floor with Butch, Tiefschwarz, La Fleur, Ruede Hagelstein and Lee Jones Music. The two albums "Left" and "Apophenia" born on the Watergate label were an adventurous journey for all involved. Ali and Basti say they have had their "souls repeatedly lost and found again," and Hagelstein spoke of "logical structures in chaos" (seems like life, doesn't it?).

 

Butch is coming surfing on the wings of his Watergate 18 compilation from February this year, which encompassed 23 tracks over 70 minutes, filled with dystopian techno from the likes of artists such as  Redshape and Minilogue, in addition to his own productions.

 

Last but not least, we also bring La Fleur along for the trip, who recently inspired the crowds at parties during Off Week Sonar and the Berlin Festival. Lee Jones rounds up the program while Ruede Hagelstein provides the necessary dash of Berlin originality!
